Description
Tonight I saw the biggest thunder storm I have ever seen in my life. The neighbor's parrot was tweeting, kids next door screaming and the whole sky constantly lightening up. And there was no sound at all. Because the storm was taking place very far from me, but it was so big that the whole town could watch it. And I spend some good time watching at it, thinking nothing else but that some Gods are fighting, trowing bolts around. And I could imagine drawing this. Believe me, it was so scary, that it was beautiful. Truly amazing.

Stunning painting. I too also like thunderstorms even though in my homeland all I get is dry lightning.
Anyways, it is amazing how you handle the luminescence well as the bolt strikes down in the center of the piece. I also like how there's different shadings in the coloring the clouds overshadow the light.
